Which is the capital of Bangalore?

I would like to know the capital of Bangalore. this is the question that has been asked in my nephew's school. I was confused if he was trying to know the capital of Karnataka for which the answer would be Bangalore, but he wants to know the capital of Bangalore. the clue given is that the answer would start with M.

Ok, first of all, Bangalore is a city in India, it is the 3rd largest city in India, nicknamed the (Silicone Valley of India), it does not have a capital.  It is located in the southwest part of the South Indian state of Karnataka, I guess it is probably the capital of the state of Karnataka.  It is located in the Heart of the Mysore Plateau.

May be they wanted to know what is the name of the building where the secretariat of the State of Karnataka in Bangalooru is housed. It is Vidhana Soudha.

Bangalore is a city in India as you already know.

(Most cities don't have one)

I did find an "M" reference that may be what you are looking for. From what I read it is the headquarters for the Mysuru district also called the Mysore district. This could be where the confusion is.

Bangalaore is a city, which cannot have a capital.  Bangalore is the Capital of Karnataka and there can be no capital for Bangalore.
