Which is the cheapest city in ireland to live in for a cuple of months?

I am going to ireland for a few months and I dont want to expend that much money as in England

actually you can get by quite cheaply in almost any part of Ireland if you are budget conscious... I stayed in Dublin 3 months on less than $500 U.S.   Do use DAFT to find a roomshare... buy day passes for the bus and train/DART    Don't dine out, buy meals at the grocer...   Slan abhaile!

Check out Cork, Limerick and Galway, also smaller centres like Athlone, Waterford, Wexford.

Of the larger cities, Limerick is definitely the cheapest.  Galway and Cork are getting almost as expensive as Dublin.
