  1. I don't know about department stores, it's more fun to walk around the neighborhoods and go to the boutiques. My favorite is The Marais - great shopping, delicious restaurants, hidden museums and fabulous people watching... http://www.forbestraveler.com/luxury/bes...

    If I do go to a department store, I admit, I love Monoprix - I'm still getting compliments on clothing etc that I got there 6 years ago! It may not be expensive, but I think it's great.
