  1. The dates given are correct, however large parts of Australia do not really have a four season climate. More of a dry/wet two season climate.

    All our seasons start on the first of a month.

    Autumn - 1st March

    Winter - 1st June

    Spring - 1st September

    Summer - 1st December

  3. Autumn starts on the 1st of March in Australia but the Autumn Equinox isn't until the 20th of March. That is when the weather starts to become more like Autumn than summer. For example - in Australia this week, (in melbourne) we haven't had any max temperatures under 30degrees celcius (86 F) and it has been around 40 celcius (104 F)
