Which is the dynamic band (dB) of the classic FM radio?

I would like to know which is the dynamic band in decibels of the classic FM radio station (also the capability of the broadcasting station). For example, an CD can store 96dB of the dynamic band.

  1. "dynamic band in decibels" is meaningless. I think you may dynamic range in dB. I don't recall the actual numbers, but for mono FM is is about 60-70 dB with a fairly good signal.  Stereo drops it to about 50 dB.


  2. Using analog methods, this is generally taken as 70db. It may be less as sometimes they tradeoff dynamic range. Digital should be about 92db but again there are tradeoffs.
