that fat guy throws a huge log a team 7, but they succesfully dodge it, and naruto beats him with his shadow clone jutsu. plus, the guy gets kicked in the stomach by naruto and falls into a river.

     If you are referring to the scene in the first opening theme then: It never happened. I've watch all 220 episodes of the original Naruto series and there is now episode of that adventure.

     Something that anime and manga artist do alot is make up fake scenes and picture just to sort of show what the anime is about, characters personalities and most of all, to show off the artists' talents.
