Which is the fastest 50 cc scooter (no higher cc than 50) that you know of, and what is the top speed of it?

I would like to know what make, model, etc. Also, whether it was modified to achieve the speed or not. (I prefer to hear about unmodified.)

Hello, Your question is a good one. I would have to say the fastest 50cc would be a Kymco Super9. I think it is a 49.6cc though. Top speed on flat ground with not a lot of wind, is, 52mph. Now I know this because I have one. Now the Super9 that I have is water cooled. It is a 2005. And it is a two stroke Scooter.

You can also do an up-grade on the scoot. The Scooter Hospital in Key West, FL has all kinds of things you can do to the Super9. They still make the Super9. You can get a 70cc kit and I heard that they also have a 73cc kit.

Now my Super9 is still stock with no up-grades done yet. The cost is about $2600. I have been told that it is the best 50cc you can buy. There is a group on Yahoo that will answer any qusetion to can think of about the Super9.
