Which is the fastest of the 50cc Vespas?

doing some research on which would be the quickest 50cc vespa to buy.

Out the door off the floor no 49cc/50cc is not going to go any faster than 40mph tops. You can make modifications for more speed but risk voiding any warranties. My Yamaha 125cc Vino will do 60mph.

  A lot of false   information floating around here. Most 50cc will go around 35 or 40 mph. Kymco super 9's go a lot faster. There are several places you can get things to  speed them up . In the current make the Japanese scooters are not rated on the top and have not been for some time. They have been getting by on their name. The highest rated are  Piaggio and Vespa, followed by Kymco and Hyosung and then your Japanese scooters.

VADE B, LAMBRETTA DON'T PRODUCE A 50cc.  so not much hope there.  also the question was which was faster and i'm afraid none of them.  get an aprilla or gilleria if you want a fast 50cc, lots of kits for them and variator upgrades etc.  your et's, lx is at best a 55 mph bike.

i have seen some 70cc aprillas doing over 70.

All 50cc mopeds will do around 40mph flat out - fast is just not even in the equation.

The Pe or Px. But why a vespa, get a Lambretta mate and change the pistol etc. leave with a little dignity.

my mate had a vespa 50 special back in the 80's , he spent a fortune on it ,zirri 2000 kit ,36mm carb,reverse cone pipe , by the time he had finished it was a 200cc motor and was very quick, but a standard vespa 50 will do 40mph at the best.
