You mean the best?  That will be a matter of opinion.

Or do you mean the oldest?  

One of the most beautiful and quite old is The West End Hotel.

It books mainly business conferences,  unless the policy has

changed ... so you will find a lot of foreign business men staying there.  When I was in Bangalore, you could go for lunch and a

swim in the pool,  although I do not know if they still will allow

day guests.
