  1. It depends on what you mean by "aquatic".  In popular usage, it just means living in any kind of water.  But, in science, it more specifically refers to freshwater.  For example, if you were an aquatic biologist you would study rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, but generally not oceans.

So, if you want the largest freshwater mammal, I'd probably go with the hippopotamus.

  2. That would be the Blue Whale (Balaenoptera musculus). At up to 33 metres (110 ft) in length and 181 metric tonnes (200 short tons) or more in weight, it is believed to be the largest animal ever to have existed.

  3. The largest aquatic mammal in the world is the Blue Whale. It is also the largest animal on earth currently that we know of, and is actually the largest animal to have ever lived in the history of the world as far as we know.

    here are some interesting facts:

-when a blue whale is born, it weighs about 6000 pounds

-newborn blue whales can gain up to 200 pounds per day

-a full-grown blue whale's heart is about the size of a small car

-a blue whale's blood vessels are so big that large fish could swim through them

-blue whales can grow to over 100 feet long.

-blue whales are the loudest animals on earth.

-a single blue whale can eat up to 8,000 pounds of krill per day

-a blue whale's tongue alone weighs about 3 tons

-a baby blue whale will drink about 100 gallons of its mother's milk per day

-blue whales are endangered, and it is thought that there are only about 12,000 left in the wild. this is due to overhunting in the 1800's

    hope that helps!
