Scientists say that the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is a single living thing.  If you look at it that way, then it is the longest living animal, stretching over many, many miles.

Other than that, there are some species of parasitic worms that I believe can reach total lengths of many, many feet, up into the hundreds.

The longest animal is called the 'bootlace worm.' It can reach fifty metres!!ong and lives in deep ocean. The second longest is the lions mane jelly-fish which can reach around 45 metres, and the third longest is the Blue Whale- reaching about 32 metres.
