the very short answer is kashmir. infact it is one of the most beautiful places in the world. however it is a bit affected by millitency but its not bad as it gets pictured in the media. and also the city areas are quite safe. in addition a lot of people actually go to kashmir everyyear in summers.

its speciallity is the large number of gardens, dal lake , shankracharya mandir, cool climate, rich cuisine and so on.

no wonder its called paradise on earth.

so u could also join them if u can gather a bit of courage :)

Karnataka - India's best kept secret.  Why is it the best?  The best places are virtually free from commercialization and crowds.  Some virgin beaches, breath-taking monuments, misty western ghats, wild-life rich Cauvery-Nilgiri belt, Coffee estates and decent locals.

Coz, Kerala is the best. India has a lot of toursit spots to offer....GOA, Kashmir, Dargeeling, Manali, Shimla............but all the places are popular for any one feature or activities.

But Kerala, is a mixture of all.......... It has the finest beaches in India. The only backwater tourism available in india is Kerala. Moreover, a wide variety of old temples, churches, mosques, synagogues........ museums, cultural activities, hill stations, festivals, art galleries, exhibitions, flower shows, trade fairs................ a lot of varieties....... that couldnt be explained here.

The climate of kerala is one of the major thing that attract foreigners.....

Its becoz of all these specialities that NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC has ranked Kerala amoung the Fifty places in the world, to be visited by a man in his lifetime....
