Wanstead Flats are a welcome relief, if not exactly beautiful, after leaving Woodgrange Road;  at least they are a promise that you are heading out!

lol at Sid!....its true though, there really are no beautiful places in East London. The question you should be asking is 'Which is the least repulsive place in East London?'. If you're looking for a beautiful place, go to China or Venice lol not East London!

Island Gardens (the park - not station) is pretty, watching the boats and the nice view across to Greenwich.

Yes East London may be the ugliest part of London buts its getting this biggest makeover than anywhere else in Europe. A bulk of construction is occurring all around East London. When finished East London will be more famous and classier than West London as the city moves East.
