Which is the most comfortable wide-body commercial aircraft if you're flying coach?

I don't think there's only 1 possibility, because each airline can configure their airplanes anyway they want.  Some have seats with more room than others.  You can check kneeroom, seat width, and ameneties by airline and plane type at http://www.seatguru.com  The best coach/economy flight I've had in the past several years has been Northwest Airlines transatlantic on an Airbus 330.  Great in flight entertainment systems, food a half-notch above competitors, everything else pretty much on par with other airlines, but these days, anything slightly better than the others is really appreciated.

777 is the best plane that is currentlty out there. According to a survey of thousands of pilots worldwide.

But soon the 787 will come out and that is going to change air travel as know it. Flying coach will be almost like flying first class...
