  1. Try finding out a trip from PR to Venezuela (Caracas) and from there to Manaos via Varig. If that's not possible, suggest the route I took from Bogota in Colombia to Manaos again with Varig airlines. If you can not connect from PR to Colombia or to Venezuela, try going via Miami to either one of these countries.
