  1. India vs Pakistan, in World Cup.

Am not sure of the year: maybe 2003.

  2. DEFINITELY...the india australia sydney match..coz of aall the controversies and coz india eventually won the ODI series..

  3. July 1981, at Headingley in Leeds.

Australia won the first test match.  The second was rain affected, and ended up a draw.

In the third match, Australia scored 401 in their first innings.  England were bowled out for 174.  Ian Botham was playing in his first game since resigning the captaincy because of a loss of form

In that first innings, he scored fifty from fifty balls, to complement the 6 wickets for 95 runs he took in Australia's first innings.

Now in test cricket, if a team is more than 199 runs behind on the other sides first innings score, the opposition captain can ask the other team to follow on, which is what happened.

In the second innings, it looked like a disaster for England.  They had reached 135 for 7, needing 92 more runs to avoid an innings defeat.  Suddenly, Ian Botham, notably assisted by Graham Dilley launched into the Australian attack with great gusto.

The last three wickets put on 221 runs, Dilley making just over 50, while Botham ran out of partners, unbeaten on 149.

This left Australia a seemingly modest 129 to chase.  However, they went from 56 for one to 111 all out, with Bob Willis taking 8 for 43.

Had Australia won the match, they would have been 2 up with three to play.  It was the greatest comeback since Lazarus!  If you like, research it on wikipedia.
