Alberta is the most polluted province in Canada and Toronto is the most polluted city and not only from the environmental perspective.

every city has different issues...

Vancouver pollutes the sky BUT the smog is blown inland so actually a smaller city Chilliwack gets Vancouvers pollution..

I live in AB.. miles from anywhere..

I suspect its a more populated province like Quebec or Ontario is more polluted..

none in Canada are polluted near as bad as any state in USA.. but we still need to do our bit to clean up and waste less...

Elliot Lake Ontario still has the claim that it is most polluted from radiation... so bad that it is unwise to have a basement... radon gas fills it.

We might expect Windsor to claim a title, but Chatham (Ontario) through London, appear to have more bad air days, and even worse air. It seems that the heat of Detroit lifts the pollution up and over Windsor.

Out in western Saskatchewan where mining is for sulphite, the pollution is hard to avoid, but it is also present wherever we have paper mills.

Sarnia is not a nice place, but not worse than anywhere in the Chatham-London zone.

Odd as it may seem we get some of our worst smog close to lakes StClair, Huron, Erie when we have foggy conditions.

There are too many sour gas wells to start naming them, and they can be lethal. They must take the title (shared) of our worst environmental zones.

From the perspective of  naturally occurring pollution, Saskatchewan salinity may take a prize.

We found New York so foul that we forced it to leave the confederation.
