i would never generalize which countries are more racist.  but there is opression in guatemala and bolivia because the som eof local indegenous people want to maintain their ways, and some of the euro types want do not understand all of that

some places like panama and puerto rico that have huge variety of populations from light to dark..there can be a bit bias toward others here.

notice that in mexico, the TV stars and movie actors are mostly whiter skin and light brown/blonde hair.  women especially becasue they die their hair.

some indeginous people in brazil have been opressed a bit too.

talk to a latin america person, and likely they will say that much of the bias comes from economic bias, not from color of skin.  

i am not sure i buy that argument, but there is some truth to that.  money talks down there.

ok let me explain, we are not racist we focus on economic class and social class, everything goes around money i rich one will not hang out with a poor one now for u it looks about race but most of the people that have money is white, medium class is mestizos and poor are indians (this is generalizing) why is this? lets come back to history, the owners of property in the colony times were the europeans they didnt mix thats why until this day they keep their last names money and race, medium class is form by medium or low class european that mix with indeans thats why they are mestizos and have conbine last names poor people are the indeans that noone wants to mix with (there were also mestizos that never get reconized by the white father) and thats why everyone thing its about race but it is not is about economics, social class education and status, race most of the time is coincidence...

Yeah you're right white people in south America is very racist. Those places where whites make the major part of the population are Argentina, the south of Brazil and Uruguay.

ARGENTINA!! They think they are better than us beacuse they have more european (especially italian) heritage than us. They are white, with blue and green eyes, but they are latinos too!!!!........But there is also indians there y encima nos cholean. Que buena raza!
