  3. Okay .....

i think u mixed two Ancient Egyptian characters with each other

    - The King who has light one time in the year on his face is (Ramsis II) ...... as Moonrise mentioned

    - i think .... the God of Darkness in Ancient Egypt is known as (( Set )) ....

    Note:

The word (( Sunset )) were taken from the name of the God (( Set )) ..... where (( Sunset )) means that when the sun goes down and the (( Darkness : night )) started

  5. At the back of the sanctuary the four statues from left to right are =

    Ptah, Amun-Re, Ramesses II, & Re-Harakhti.

Twice a year, on February 21st & October 21st, the rays of the rising sun shine directly into the sanctuary & illuminate the statues.

The God who remains in darkness except once a year is Ptah.

Been to Abu Simbel 4 times, & love the place, its just out of this world.

  6. The god of darkness is ptah.
