  1. Nearest airport to KK : Trivandrum (94km)

    There is no direct rail link between trivandrum and ooty.

    But there are many trains to Coimbatore from trivandrum.

    From Coimbatore, u can hire a cab or bus to reach Ooty since it is 2.5 hours journey

    Also there is the famous toy train from Mettupalayam to Ooty which enroutes via many tunnel and picturesque scenery but it takes 3.5 hours
