Is it the board with Mayfair and Old Kent Road or the board with Boardwalk and Baltic Ave?

  3. Parker Brothers marketed Monopoly in the US in 1935.  They sold the rights to Waddingtons for the English version in December 1935.

  4. The original Monopoly is the one with New Jersey street names (Atlantic City to be precise) - the English version is not the original.  It was invented by Charles Darrow - who lived in PA and summered in NJ.

  5. The first and original version of monopoly is the English version. This is the one with places including:

    -Old Kent road

    - Mayfair

    - Euston Road

    They have now made lots more, including simpsons monopoly, australian, scottish and others!!
