Hello. I am going to London and right now I am looking a room to rent, but I don't know where to stay , since London is huge and like anywhere, there are dangerous and safer places to stay. I need to be close to central London. Thank you. I hope other people get profit from this question.

  1. Close to central London is Inner city.

    Inner city London where I live is the most expensive or most dangerous parts of London. I suggest you live in outter London you can always get into central London easy anyways the transport is nicely connected here. But there are some areas.

    Expensive

    * Hammersmith and Fulham- Posh

    * Kensington and Chelsea- Posj & Expensive

    * City of Westminster- Extremely Expensive

    Noutoriously known crime boroughs

    * Lambeth- 7 teens shot dead higest amounts of murder than any other borough

    * Southwark-

    Lambeth & Southwark have seen 11 teen murders 7 of which they were shot dead.

    * Hackney- Gun capital of the country I live on what is known as the murder mile Lower Clapton road.

    * Lewisham- Dump, deprived poor and crime

    Both has expensive areas and poor areas good and bad areas. You should find housing in one of these boroughs.

    * Tower Hamlets

    * Wandsworth

    * Islington

    * Greenwich

    * Camden

  2. Shepherds Bush or High Street kensington or Earls Court

    These places are not cheap, but if you dig deeply you can find cheap places, try limes grove hotel in Shepherds Bush there are studio flats with indoor toilet suit for £500 a month incluidng all bills and free internet and is 2 minutes away from shepherds bush station it is on lime grove no 32. i used to live there for one year i had to move out cuz i got married and i needed bigger space and now i am in Northolt.

    you can find similar palces in High Street Kensington but you have to be patient and look properly.

    I would recommend Shepherds Bush because it is 24 hours alive, nice shops and restaurants and ppl never get bored in Shepherds Bush. Earls Cours is mainly for single people, Hihg Street Ken is mainly for the Rich but is near to everywhere.
