  1. The largest car available so the new driver can learn how to judge a vehicle without difficulty in the real world..Forget about "safest".  The safety depends on the driver first and foremost and the question is about skills and learning.  Absolutely do not depend on a vehicle or another driver for your safety.  Rely on your skills and learn them well!  Find the largest vehicle and parking lot and practise driving!

  2. Usually a big, heavy European car. Volvo and Mercedes are usually the best, although older Mercedes cars are RWD, so they won't be great if you live in a snowy area.

  3. a volvo

  4. A huge car from the 70's or 80's they trash them anyway, and if it gets in a accident it's not that big of a loss. Most of the cars in the 70's and 80's were huge tanks made of steel and are very safe for first drivers. They may not be the nicest or what the teen wants but, they need to prove that they can drive well and safe before I will go out and shell out the big $ for a nice truck for any of my kids.

  5. The one in a driving simulator.

  6. there's no such a safest car for a new driver, if he/she is a bad driver.  safety begins with obeying the rules of the road.

  7. Either a Buick or a Chevy mid-size will work the best.

  8. Honda CR-V.  I was hit by a drunk driver who was going 80, my car rolled 5 times and I hit a tanker truck.  No major injuries except a cut on my hand from glass, and a bruise on my hip from a seat belt.

  9. A used Volvo.

  10. a tonka tank  "
