I am a senior in high school with a 3.1 GPA and 1900 SAT score. I live in a county in VA where the standards are extremely high; 94-100 is an A, 84-89 a B, 74-79 a C, and so on(also the AP credits only .5, not 1 point as in most counties). I messed up freshman year but ended up junior year with a 3.5 (my cumulative gpa is 3.1 though). With all of these in mind, I wish to attend medical school after undergrad. I know for sure i cant get into UVA; I was thinking of Penn State or University of Maryland. However, would it be better if I did two years of community college at NOVA and then transferred to UVA?? Or would it be better to attend Penn State/U of Maryland instead? Keep in mind my goals to get into medical school. Thanks a lot in advance
