Thats in your opinion! Mine is The Halifax. As they have rubbish customer Service and some stupid new rules about paying in over the counter.

  1. Halifax is c**p they shut my friends account when she made a complaint Lloyd's tsb is the best

Halifax don't let you do enquires over the counter anymore and you have to use the phone in Halifax to enquire about your account.you also cant withdraw anything under 250 pounds form what my friend said you have to use the cash point.

the thing that really got to my friend was she wanted to cancel a direct debit, and she was told when she went in the counter could not do it and she had to use the phone.

she did but she had never used it before and had no pass word then she had to provide id which she did not have on her,so she never did cancel her direct debits ,she went with llyods tsb after making a complaint as they shut her account

  2. i agree with halifax  i complained about them closing a local branch and they closed my account. also alliance and leicster. they froze my account took my cards and it took 3 years to get back the money left in my account due to their error

  3. Abbey. I told them to cancel a standing order and the didn't. I have so many that I didn't notice this for two years!.

Now they refuse to refund me.

I have left them for nationwide. They are excellent.

  4. Is there a good one, they all try and rip you off with ridiculously high rates and they have no idea what the word SERVICE mean, you might as well be talking to a machine at least then you might get some sort of service.
