  1. Yeah I hear allot of people take darvocet to help with withdrawal but it's usually withdrawal from methadone.

And darvocet can cause withdrawal symptoms by there self that can suck.

Darvocet is way weaker than vicodin.

  2. Tylonol works alot better than vicodin or darvacet and the Tylonol pm's are great if taken an hour befor you want to sleep

  3. Morphine is definitely the most powerful, then darvocet, and last is vicodin.

Darvocet is not currently used in treatment for opioid addictions and I'm not so sure replacing that with the morphine and vicodin will break an addiction.

Understandably you are seeking assistance in overcoming your addiction - first off, you should be congratulated for taking this important step. Secondly, I suggest trying Tramadol instead of Darvocet to ease the symptoms of withdrawal. It is still in the opioid class but works differently than morphine, vicodin, etc. It is also more mild but works for a longer period of time (it is effective but mild enough that in some countries you can even obtain it without a prescription... though not in the U.S.)

    Best wishes!

  4. I would definitely ask your physician first because of darvocet's narcotic effect. Wouldn't do much good if you broke one addiction only to form another.
