  1. michael hussey in good touch with a cover drive.

steve waugh's slog sweeps were awesome to watch back in the day.

  2. Backfoot drive for six

pretty rare shot, played to a ball on the rise outsife off ends forward of point - a very very good shot

  3. Michael Vaughan's pull stroke !!

It is played with such elegance, and style. He can drag a full bowl and still pull the ball away for four !!!

He's one of the greatest exponenets of the short ball.

  4. i remember Pieterson's 6 of a reverse sweep tht was a good shot :) he was like the first to do tht

  5. I like pietersen when he comes down the wicket and pulls balls which are outside of  stump

  6. Cover Drive and straight past the bowler are the favourite strokes. But Square cuts of azhar and laxman are also special.

  7. My favourite is Straight drive. Sachin is, and Gavaskar was good at it.

Yes, Ganguly has a very good cover drive; and so is Dravid.

So also Laxman's flick. Did you see Azharuddin's paddle sweep shot?

  8. The leg glance for the on side.David Gower was a brilliant exponent of this before he ran into Lawson and Healy in '89. The off side would have to be the square cut on back foot. Gordon Grennidge scythed England at Lord's in '84. He cut them to ribbons.

  9. i like sweep

  10. u r right... Dravid's cover drive is cool: looks so perfectly placed n composed. And i luv Sachin's upper cut!

Do u remember Uthappa's reverse sweeps in d 6th ODI against England in 2007??? i thought those were simply matchless 4 quick scoring. n Yuvi's hooks while smashing 6 6s in d T-20 world cup wud b un4gettable!!

Yur question is too cool! See ya!!!

  11. Straight drive and cover drive, esp. when Sachin plays them.

  12. I share your admiration for Ganguly ;-)

    He is simply awesome!

And he bowled so well too.
