Which is worse, Psychological or Physical torture? ?

Psychological, because once you get "brainwashed", it's really hard to get back, and results in a lifetime of bad choices.

Physical torture can be stopped and the purpetrator can be brought to justice.  

There is no real good way to prove psycological torture so the perp. gets away with it.

those who have never experienced physical torture would probably say psychological torture because they don't understand how bad physical torture is. physical torture is much, much worse.

psych torture is horrible, of course, but it's an attack of your mind, which can withstand much more than people give it credit for. there are major psychological side effects to physical torture as well that are often way worse than psych torture alone. not to mention the pain, disfigurement and degradation that often comes with physical torture.

It depends on the person and how they react. Someone may be able to take physical torture while not being about to handle mind games.  While someone else can take being messed with mentally & not physically!

Physical torture, if tolerated, will almost always result in phychological torture, and that's a very barbarous combination.

On the other hand psychological torture, even if tolerated, may not result in physical torture, although it is as bad coz it eats into one's very existence and dignity as a human being.
