voting for a fictitious person because you don't like any of the candidates or just not voting? Either way you are still throwing away a vote right?

  1. I think they are both equally bad.

Since our country began men and women have died for us to have the right to vote. To not vote at all or waste our vote on a fictional character is an outward sign of disrespect towards our American heros.

If you don't like the canidates, at least vote for someone you believe is a good leader. (From Candoleeza Rice-Oprah-Bill Gates...it doesn't matter)

  2. both...I think everyone should vote or not complain about the government if they don't.

  3. Voting for a fictitious person or third party candidate IS throwing away a vote, yes, but at least it's counted as "Other" proving that you are part of the population that is sick of Red vs. Blue.

I think it's better than voting for a candidate that you don't like just because you're scared to death of the other though.

That sends a negative message. If more people stood up and refused to vote for a candidate that is less than par, I think things would play out MUCH differently!
