  1. Diet soda contains chemicals that can harm your baby. If you are in your 1st trimester it can even cause a miscarriage. It can also cause birth defects. I learned that in school.

  2. both are bad for your health its the big companies are making profit on by making different kinds..... diet soda can lead to certain kind of cancer.... regular can lead to diabetes....... choose yourself  what you want cancer or diabetes...... ??????????

  3. Diet anything is. Have regular soda, any type without caffeine, just once in a while.

  4. Both contain caffeine and are a no no when pregnant.

Sodas are also carbonated which will exasperates the issue of gas which you will run into being pregnant.

Both are entirely unnatural beverages and contain a host of chemical colorants, sweeteners and preservatives.

It would be prudent to avoid both and if you are looking for sweet beverage while pregnant reach for the juice.  If it is the carbonation your crave you can get fruit juice frizzante beverages which are carbonated fruit juice, like oragina.

  5. diet soda with the sweeteners and chemicals.  You should limit both.

  6. avoid all soda if possible. drink juice just as sweet and healthier...

  7. Both can have caffeine which isn't good, but I think that diet soda is worse due to the possible relationship with PKU disorder.

Personally, I don't drink soda often, but when I do it, it's regular Sprite.  No caffeine, chemicals.

  8. They are both equally bad.  That is why you should avoid soda when pregnant.  Or even when your not.  But if your diabetic or on strict diet, you need to stick with caffeine free diet soda.  And if your not on restrictions, then regular caffeine free soda is ok.  But switch to gatorade, juice and lots of water.

  9. not all regular soda has caffine.. and of course many diet ones DO contain caffine

pop is dehydrating so really isnt good anyhow..

diet pop is far LESS healthy.. becuase of the chemicals..

if you are so fat you need DIET POP - you shouldnt be drinking pop at all.

  10. I wouldn't be drinking any soda unless it was caffeine free, I stick only to sprite and sierra mist. But I have heard that diet sodas are worse.

  11. My dr. told me not to drink any diet soda or any diet anything while I'm pregnant because of the artifical sweetners.  I'd go with that.

  12. Neither is good but if you are going to go for a soda, go for the original.  Diet cokes are a no no because they contain artificial sweeteners and aspartame that can harm the baby.  Also if you drink anything you need to put sugar in, use regular sugar.
