  1. A smack talker who dont know what smack he is talking!

It is almost funny some times, but most times it is very anoying!

  2. gosh i extremely dislike both!!

but i have to say the ignorant talker!

  3. Honestly, they both bother me.  Especially being a Brewers fan because now that we're having success I see so much more Brewers stuff than I have before.  I don't mind ignorant fans..it kinda makes me laugh.

  4. when someone becomes a fan of your team that happens to be doing well, that does not make him a bandwagoner.  If he hops from team to team that way it does, but we were all new fans once.

I dislike the smack talker more.  How can you converse with someone who only has the response that "(Your team) socks."   Why would you want to?

  5. Both are equally annoying.

  6. My team is currently working on its 8th consecutive losing season, so I seriously doubt that there's too many people jumping on its bandwagon right now. And as far as the second part of your question goes, the Reds are so lousy that it would be hard for anyone to talk anything OTHER than smack about 'em...

  7. A fan of another team who talks smack about my team (Red Sox) without any facts.

I don't like wagoners either - but at least they will be rooting for a winner eh?

  8. The first one doesn't know better if they are a bandwagon fan, but the second does and that is bad.

  9. I dislike both. Bandwagoners are annoying, except there are no bandwagoners on my favorite team. My favorite team is the A's so no one really bandwagons to the A's. I hate people talking smack about my team. Even if they do bad, it's like they try to do it just to make me upset, some say they are kidding and enjoying it. I try to ignore it but sometimes, it gets on my nerves. It's like we have no feelings, truly when they talk smack about my team it hurts. It's annoying esepcially when someone says the A's lost, I was like first, how did you know and why would you care? So basically, talking smack is worse. It gets on my nerves and makes me upset. Good Question. Here;s a star. =]

  10. A fan of another team talking smack without knowing anything.

Some serious, "real" fans start out when the team is good.  My dad became a Mets fan in 1969.  So technically he's a bandwagoner, but he's also been living and dying every day with the team for almost 40 years now.  Last September practically gave him a coronary.

  11. I don't have issues with bandwagon fans as a Rangers and O's fan.

I do, however, get the "Rangers/Orioles suck" thing daily, and I hate it.  I ignore it, but it definitely bothers me.

  12. I dislike the ignorant smack talker more than I dislike the bandwagon fan.  Thats probably because there is no Royals badwagon to jump on but there are plenty of people that like to bad mouth my team.

  13. When we were married my ex claimed that he'd follow the Tigers with me. He even wore Tiger T-shirts and hats and all that garbage but he was a liar. He was really a Mariner fan and he LOVED it when the Tigers lost. It took me awhile to realize that.

  14. A tie.  Let the opposing fan talk smack to the bandwagon jumper; the jumper will be confused and the smack fan will be unsatisfied, frustrated.

  15. Hmm....hard one. I would say if it were 100% just a bandwagon thing, then thats by far worse. But if they started as a bandwagoner and then started to honestly care its not that bad. So it depends on the situation.
