Question

1. Do you think that the present F1 cars look ugly ? (I do..but thats my opinion)

2. Please post a link to your awesome looking F1 car, in the entire history of Formula one, which is from the beginning of F1 till the present day.

Different people have different taste, so I am curious to see which F1 car from which year, you consider it be awesome looking..

In terms of today's cars, I do agree that some of the cars look ugly. For example the Renault R28!

1) I think they look s**y for present day fashion. But compared to cars of the old they look very fiddly and principle dominated. They are no longer slender and minimilist.

2) This is too hard im sorry! But I have chosed 3 (I had to!) of my favourite! At this point in time! Don't hold me to that folks I can change my mind!! :)

i saw the ferrari 312 with the help of ur link....i find it really good looking...its quite sleek...and the exhaust(s) u see every cylinder of the engine(another point the engine is totally exposed!!!) has been given its seperate exhaust!!! and also they are like winded up with each other in an very classy manner....also the exhause is painted white!!!....dont know what it looked like(exhaust) aftr the race was over!!!...what ever....its not ugly though...more of an roadcar...the ground clearance of the car is also d**n high(good for Yuji ide..he can do lot of off roading in it!!!..sorry am pulling his leg too much now a days!!!...).....so u can drive it on the roads too.....and take it your farm house on weekends!! ;-)........

Welll personally i feel  tdays F-1 cars are beautiful...actully every f-1 enthusiast must feel it!!....F-1 is all about aerodynamics and hence the hanging Aero aids must be welcome(though excess of it is'nt ;-)  !!)

the car u feel beautiful is more near to an Hot-Rod  (r u an american??!!)... or more near to road cars....thinking about the the way f-1 cars gotta be built and the expectations from them....they look beautiful....at least every layer of em have an reason for being there!!....also the wiseness in the place ment of corporate ad's or sponsor's ads logo's on the livery must be given an hats off!!!....

The Ferrari F2003 is the best looking car to me,

it doesn't have all of those wing-lets on the sides of the car like they do now days

Q1: Yes, they are pretty horrific.

Q2: For me the Lotus 72D wins by a nose from the Ferrari 312T2 and the Brabham BT52B.
