  1. In the 1970s I loved the CB (citizens band) radio. We could find out if there was a speed trap, traffic, directions and just idle chat in  a strange lingo.

The CB was replaced by a combination of radar detectors, cell phones and gps systems, good buddy.

  2. 1970's coke a cola, before they messed with the recipe in the 80's called New Coke Grosssssss Disgusting stuff.

Original formula has been available for some time now.

Pop Rocks was good in the 1970s, taken off the market, brought back today.

7up then was what? If they now make it more natural, same goes for Pizza Hut pizzas, what were they topping with back then? A mutant tomatoe compared to todays organic?

  3. The Sony Walkman.  An amazing cassette tape player that you could go anywhere with and listen to via headphones.

Following the Tape came the CD and the CD Walkman was born. (I must admit that I kept my tape version going though, cause it worked better, no skipping, and was smaller.)

Finally we have The iPod.  No tape or CD required! (Yes I have one, a Shuffle!!!)

  4. My favourite product was the 70's themselves.  The wild assed revolution of the 60's was calming down to sensible proportions and people were starting to look at what was good and not just different. The 80's ushered in a new wave of toxic feminism and me-ism.  It spawned the "Baby on board" sticker which ushered in the age of children as possessions and billboards for ourselves. The 80's sucked BIG TIME and we are only slowly coming back to our senses.

  5. Vinyl records ~ why? Self explanatory.

    Replacement ~ Cd's.
