  1. for Allah to grant me the wish to be with the man I love in Jannah...Ameen

  2. Al'hamdulilah, Allah has fulfilled every wish I have had, even some drastic ones which in my heart I felt could never happen. However, there is still one left unfulfilled.

Sometimes we wish for things that are trivial, and sometimes we wish for things that we do not know would be harmful for us, but Insha'Allah I know that this wish is something that is for the good and not necessarily, only for my own good, but it is for the good of others. I am still waiting for this wish to be fulfilled. Maybe there is more lessons to be learnt from my not getting this particular wish fulfilled.

  18. still ppl call pakistan ppl "p**i"

    1.  p**i  1381 up, 605 down

    1. A slang term to describe a Pakistani or one of Pakistani descent - used in an intentionally harmless manner **if** it's between non-Pakistanis or Pakistanis themselves.

    2. In the UK at least, used to the person the word is a derogatory racist remark for anyone of South Asian appearance, even if they're say, Indian. Look at the description of Feltham for truth of how stupidly this word is used. Used by racist Neanderthal shitbags, many of whom frequent urbandictionary.com by the look of the utter drivel I've read in this section. It goes without saying they obviously need to go back to primary school. I know some need to integrate more into British culture, way of life etc. and there are a lot of dickheads, same as in any race/ethnic group but this is hardly going to encourage them. You get a lot of white people saying "When in Rome" etc but when you treat people like **** they will treat you like **** - go figure?

And the plan to deport those who were BORN here (OK if they were terror suspects but this includes everyone - even if they've never committed a crime in their life..) is a practical violation of human rights. Fortunately, to any people accessing this from outside the UK I'm glad to say people with the views above are in the minority.

    3. A great Republic of Ireland and Celtic goalkeeper in the early '90s. Oops, sorry, that's p****e Bonner :-)

The short version for the term 'pakistani'. Before anybody says anything, it is NOT a racist term, as calling a pakistani a p**i is no different to calling someone from Britain a Brit.

no hes not an indian, hes a p**i.

Can be referred as derogatory, offensive and racist.

A Pakistani or more generally, a person who is perceived to be a Pakistani often applied to persons of any South Asian or Middle Eastern origin or indeed immigrant. Although deriving from the word Pakistan ,p**i became offensive during the 1960s when used by british citizens to refer to immigrants in a racist manner.

    '' ****** p**i why being rude!''

Depends whose says the word similar to the word ******. if said by an anglo-saxon or any other non-asian race than its a derogatory racist term. If said by a Pakistani then it is an urban term of nationality. Sometimes said to be just a short term for Pakistani. But again depends who says the term.

Pakistanis and other South-asians suffered a lot of racist abuse during the early years of immigration into Britain the term used by n**i Scum who support (the BNP and National Front) in Britain was Pakis. The first generation accepted it as they were not very much in touch with society's views about them, they were here to live in peace and work their arses off for their children and families back home. But after that generation there is no more acceptance of this racism, by Pakistanis or by the general good British public. As was seen in the Bradford, Burnley and Oldham riots in 2001.

    5.  p**i  64 up, 64 down

A slang term used to describe a Pakistani immigrant or descent. In the United Kingdom, it is a racist slur used against not only Pakistanis, but also those from other parts of South Asia. However, it is not considered offensive when used amongst people of South Asian origin. Its degree of offensiveness is similar to that of a non-African American calling an African American a "******".

"Get your butt off this English club, you bloody p**i!" Another good example is its usage in the famous low budget British Indian movie "Bend It Like Beckham", where Jasminder, a Indian girl, pushed an English girl for calling her a 'p**i' in the middle of a soccer game.

    6.  p**i  115 up, 117 down

A derogatory word used by the white lower classes within the british community, usually to describe anyone of a darker complection than themselves.

'p**i' is a word mostly used out of jealousy because someone of a pakistani origin may have a better life, house, car, job and more money.

    Example:

John: "Hey Garry, check that asian guys new car out, its a F**kin Range Rover!".

Garry: "I know them dirty F**kin pakis takin r jobs and r benefits!"

p**i actually means 'pure' and 'clean' in Urdu the country's main spoken language. Pakistan translates to the word 'Pureland'. Obviously racists don't realise this and somewhere down the line they have assumed it is them who have created the word/term during the so called 'p**i bashing' period in the 80's when 1st generation south asians in the UK were targeted for racial abuse.

Native Pakistani people actually don't take offense to the word as explained above and also to the fact that similary it's like calling someone a Brit, Scot, Aussie, Yank, etc.., although some don't think it's a PC concept to do so.

You see the word is not the problem, it's the use of it, from whom and in which context.

What I will add is that I have noticed UK Asians of Pakistani origin calling each other 'p**i' in a respectable 'brotherhood' manner. Like rappers use '******' to each other (although that word runs deep into things best forgotten).

Racists both White and Black have had a backfire when trying to be racist to 2nd/3rd generation pakistani/bangladeshi/kashmiri origin asians, they've felt the wrath to the extent police on a national riot scale have to intervene to help them! I'm talking Oldham, Bradford, Lozzells (Birmingham) and others unmentioned where the perpetraters have had the media limelight to show p**i/bangla/kash asians in bad light.

Calling someone a 'p**i' on the street now is a laughable offence where I think the sting of the word has weened out. Other than that if you want to attract attention as a racist towards pak/bang/kash asians just go up to them and tell them your view and I'm sure they can find a bed for you in the nearest hospital.
