Which island is better to visit ..Grand Bahamas or Nassau, Bahamas(paradise island)?

im traveling with the family from Fort Lauderdale, Florida . i just wounder which island is better to visit. What is there to do in those islands.

I have been to both islands and I think Paradise Island is nicer. Atlantis Resort is a big draw on Paradise Island and deservedly so. It's a gorgeous resort with so much to do for a family. We had a great time there. Check out the link

The only con is it's very expensive to eat there. The resturants are expensive for a large family. On the link I provided are prices for dining, be sure to check it out.

It's been a while since I have been to Grand Bahama Island but I think they have a more reasonable price assortment of restaurants. Here is a link to Grand Bahama Island

I agree with Stella39.  I went to Atlantis last summer with my family and looved it.  It is REALLY nice and very family oriented.  Since you're going with your family I would suggest going there; your kids will have a blast as did I.  There are a lot of attractions to visit there and a lot to do: go to the beach, the bunch of pools that they have, or the amazing water slides.  The hotel that I stayed at offered a lot of activities at night such as movies, crafts, and other things that were fun for kids.  They also have cool things to do in their downtown area; great shopping too.  It turned out to be one of the best vacations I've ever been on and I hope you have a great time wherever you choose to go :)
