verizon FIOS, it's fiber direct to your house...INSANE upload speeds. several megs usually and 20 or more megs download....FAST

I'd kill for the opportunity to have verizon in TN! (hope someone from verizon is listening out there!)

You buy the upload speed you want from any carrier.  (You're buying speed from the carrier, not from the isp - they may not be the same company.  For instance, you have an AOL DSL account - AOL is your ISP, the phone company is your carrier.)
