  1. Depends what you like.

Sea-Doos now have power steering, a computerized starter, etc.

They are good for older people, and speed deamons. The new ones also have a high-pitched engine sound - I don't like it at all.

If you like the feeling of muscling the back end around into a spin, etc Yamahas are you choice. These have a nice deep roaring sound.

From what I've seen Sea-Doos have much better gas mileage but it varies year by year model to model.

  2. heres the deal the yamaha is lighter. i have driven both of them, it is extremely bumpy and uncomfortable(the yamaha) the seadoo is an amazing piece of equipment, definately get a seadoo the top speed is around 50-55 on the seadoo and the yamaha is slower around 40-45 obviously depends, but the seadoo is definately the BMW of jetskis.

It is definately worth it give the extra 2-3 or so k and get the seadoo.

  3. what the h**l the yamaha can go like 60-65 mph so is faster than the Seadoo. the yam has had a new hull this year and is faster, more stable and just gnerally a lot better i would definetly recommend the SHO

    have a look on

    hope this helps

  4. I would go with a seadoo, just because they are more stable, and a lot nicer, in my opinion. My dad rode the fx, and compared to our seadoo, the only thing he liked about it was that it was a little bit faster. But sometimes speed isn't the only thing to look at.

In the end, you have to make the decision, so I hope you get what you want!!

    Hope this helped!!
