  3. I live in South Florida and one of my neighbors is a repo-man.  He makes good money.

  4. well they are all putting their job on the line (i know someone who has shot at the repo man)....i know a policeman who makes about 50, 000 and i know a fireman who makes about 80,000 and i dont know a repo man but thats not really a career so im sure they make less than the cop

  5. I think being a public servant is completely different from that of a repo man. Does anyone really need a repo man? I think society could do without repo men....imho. Is there any nobility in that profession?

  6. cant really say much about a repo man other than they are not serving the public. as for a cop and firefighter they are both great professions it all depends on what you like doing. can you handle going into a burning building and for cops can you handle dealing with any kind of situation domestics, abused children, being around people who do drugs, seeing dead people i.e. suicides, accidents. it all depends which you can handle. being a cop we are under paid anyway for what we do so we are not doing it for the money its the enjoyment also of helping someone else. but can you handle as a cop you never know if you are ever gonna come back home, every cop thinks about that.

    AND GOD DID CREATE COPS SO FIREFIGHTER CAN HAVE HEROES!!

  7. I tried to lateral to South Florida when I finished my 20 yrs up north.

    FF and PO are grossly under paid there.  I would never be a repo man - not sure I would be up for creeping around someones yard at night only to wake them up from a dead sleep...

    Listen - the best job is where your heart is - the quality of life can be greatly influenced by career choice!

  9. repo....no disrespect....is on a completely different level then public servant such as PO and FF.  BTW....God made Cops so that fire fighter would have heroes....LOL!

    Everyone loves a fire fighter...can't say the same for a police officer.
