A job in which the manager is awesome and wonderful and really flexible and Ive worked for for a year (although the job itself is just okay), or take a job closer to home AND make $7.00 more per hour AND working in a better environment (working at an elementary school instead of a middle school ) BUT I'm not sure how the management is??? Thanks.

  1. Whatever you do....don't let money rule your decision unless you are desperate. Do what I do...crazy as it sounds...make a list or pros and cons. Writing it all down might help you realize what makes more sense for you...because you are the only person who can truly make you happy. Also, talk to your current manager, they may be understanding of the situation and willing to give you a trial or leave of absense...and if not...were you stuck in a dead end position anyway?

  2. take a chance, go with the second.

  3. If you are a teacher which it sounds like you are, then think about the students. I would go with the job you feel most comfortable in. However, if you have a family (kids and a husband) then you may want to take a chance and earn that extra seven dollars. Your families feelings and you finacial health are more important then whether or not your students are upset with your leaving. As for the management, go for it because it is always good to try soemthing new!
