we have either the Smores or the

SHAGGY DOGS

Ingredients

1 marshmallow

A small bowl of chocolate syrup

2 to 3 tsp. shredded coconut

Directions

Spear the marshmallow on a stick and roast until golden.

Carefully dip it into the chocolate syrup to cover and then roll it in the coconut. Eat the sweet off the roasting stick. Makes one serving.

I would go with the S'more bars especially since it's a cookout. S'mores are a summer staple!

This is a very delicious dilemma indeed!  Short answer - S'more bars. Long answer - if time and money are not an issue why not make both and impress everyone with your dessert making skills.  In this case two happens to be better than one.

I suggest the s'more bars, as they are easier to just grab and eat than cake. OR I make "monkey munch" all the time. Here is the recipe:
