Definitely the first one- way more comfortable! Although I go to a restaurant for the food it's important to be comfortable while eating.

first one is nice but can you keep it clean or will become a feakin hand wiper after a while.

i dont give a c**p about the chair. you go to a restaurant to eat. not to sit on furniture. but since you really want my opinion.... unless its starbucks, dont use the first one. its ugly and looks like my pakistani grandparents' furniture.
