some has turquiouse threw it or qurartz in it.In Virginia City Nevada they had silver and gold mines there 1800's go from there.

There are various occurrences of gold.  Gold can infiltrate magma, forming gold ore in granite.  Gold nuggets can form in quartz veins in metamorphic rocks during mountain building.  Or it can form in sedimentary rocks after erosion and river transport.

Gold is often found with silver.
