  1. Sorry,  but the answers above don't really reflect US immgiration law. Assuming your husband isn't a US citizen, then as a green card holder, you can take your child directly to the US without any visa, if this is your first trip back to the US since the birth and assuming you haven't been outside of the US for over a year. You would need a birth certificate, of course.

Now if your husband is a US citizen, then it's quite possible the child is also a US citizen. In that case, you would need to register the child's birth at the US embassy or consulate and get a US passport for the child, assuming approval, of course. The father would need to show 5 years of residency in the US, including 2 after the age of 14 for your child to be recognized as a US citizen.

Contact the nearest US consulate or embassy. The websites are all available through usembassy.state.gov. You can verify everything I've told you.

  2. As a green card holder, you can apply for baby's immigration and get a green card for him.  However, you need to be aware of the "public charge" law which prohibits any immigrant from becoming a "public charge" -- i.e. dependent on any taxpayer-paid benefit, public welfare service or charity.  Anyone who is or becomes a "public charge" is not eligible for citizenship or to remain in the US.  You must get health insurance which will cover your child (and with pre-existing conditions, that is nearly impossible) or pay for his care out of your pocket or else you and your dependent child are out of here.  It is probably much, much cheaper to get his medical care in your country of citizenship.

  3. i think your baby would need a travel visa for permission of treatment most countries are not that strict on children but  it depends on the country
