There's nothing more unatractive to a man than a woman who trys to be one. Therefore, she gets more respect because we, as men, are confused and think of them as one of us.

as long as you respect yourself thats all that matters. Believe in what you believe. I would rather go for intelligence than beauty any day. Eventually looks will fade.

i believe that neither will. although a woman should be mature and some what proper and lady-like to get respect and give it. and they should also show respect for themselves. but a woman needs to be free-spirited in some ways. there is no woman who is tamed and unwilling to think and live outside the box a little that has ever made history. if you think back to any era like the 60's or before the only way those well-bread women are remembered is by their subordenant, and docile behavior. Only the women who thought for themselves, refused to settle, and searched for a new and better way of life for women; not letting me run over and treat them like dirt such as a feminist were able to make history and gain respect.
