Which kinds of egg cartons work best in sound insulation?

should i use the 2x6 cartons or do the 5x6 flat panels work as well?

If you leave the eggs in the carton there will be more mass and it will absorb the sound better.

Raw eggs should absorb the sound better than hard boiled.

They will not do anything for sound insulation, just reduce echoes and make the sound in the room more 'clear'. Like if it was in a recording area.
