yes, like andrew has said, it can't possibly be italian.  in italian you can only put 'ch' before i or e, and even then it would be prounounced kee and keh respectably.  so 'macho' does not exist in italian, although the closest cognant would be Maschio (maskeeo) meaning 'male'.

It's definitely not Italian.  The letter combination CHO is not possible according to Italian orthography.
