I would say Italian. And the oldest medical university was the one in Perugia, ca. 1276 AD. They still teach it there, in the middle of a medieval fortified town, between Firenze and Assisi.

Italian and Russian are by far the most beautiful and romantic languages in complete and utter existence. Go with Italian.

Italian.  Especially for someone interested in classical music...Italian is the universal &quot;classical music language.&quot;  Even the word &quot;piano&quot; is Italian in origin.  Italy has a wonderfully rich cultural history that has influenced the world in profound ways.  I&#039;ve never been to Italy, but it is definitely on my &quot;top 5 places to visit before I die&quot; list.

In my opinion, I think French is more romantic. Italian&#039;s accents are bleh, while French accents are more doux. If you decide French, go to The American University of Paris.

I love Italian, purely because it&#039;s my grandmothers native language and i was raised speaking it.

but the even more gorgeous language in Portuguese... the girls will melt ;)

and i&#039;d definatly say Italy has better medical universities. but i&#039;m slightly bias :)

It&#039;s really your call. What&#039;s beautiful to one person is ugly to another. Like, I find Japanese, French and Russian to be very lovely languages, but for another person, like my mother, she wonders why I like Japanese, and my dad, he wonders why I like Russian and French.

And who has better medical universities? I don&#039;t have a clue.

Both languages are beautiful to me. And as for medical schools I&#039;ve heard that Spain has good medical schools.
