ok so im going 2 college this yr and i love languages so im going to study french which i've studied before and spanish which i learn in my spare time. I think id like to do another language at beginners level just for a year.. which one would give me the most enjoyment as i probably won't continue with it after first year (the course requires me to study 4 subjects in first year but only continue with 2 in 2nd yr). These are my choices: latin, greek, or italian

  1. Choose Italian!

  2. Italian

  3. Italian.  Italian is most similar to Spanish and French, and unlike Latin, it is still spoken outside of classrooms and churches :)

  4. spanish the best  it is so easy to learn and im english

    hola=hello

    me allmo=my name is

    que tal=how are you

    dieve e ocho=18

  5. Italian would be nice. Latin is an ancient and pretty much dead language.  Unless you're going to be working for the Roman Catholic Church or the Vatican, I don't see the point of Latin (I myself am a Catholic theology masters student and yet I didn't take any courses in Latin).

    With Italian vs. Greek, Italian themes run throughout other languages.  If you know Italian, it will complement your understanding of other related languages.  I don't think it's the same for Greek.

  6. KOREAN! i LOVE KOREA LANGUAGE.

    Just started learning it for 2-3 months!

    As for you choice. Italian should  be nice

  7. Latin is better

    because many people don't take it and u ill be different from others

    Italian and Greek are very common nowadays

  8. Italian!  I took 3 classes in college and loved each of them
