Which laptop is better: Dell Inspiron 8600 or Compaq presario R3000?

I have two laptops, I want to sell one of them, and keep the better one.

First is a dell inspiron 8600. Has a 1.5 GHz centrino, 128 MB of dedicated video ram

Second is a compaq presario R3000. Has AMD Athlon 3000+, but only 32 MB of dedicated ram.

The inspiron has some cracks on the bottom of the chasis, and generally runs hotter. The compaq runs cooler, and only thing missing is the face-plastic cover for the CD-drive (although you can still open it).

Which is better so I keep that one?
