Question:

Which larger species of lizard could i keep in my vivarium that is 3ftwide x 4ft high x 1.5 ft deep?

i have kept water dragons and 2 types of gecko before and have experiance in looking after reptiles. Would like to have one as apose to a pair, so would prefer a "friendly" species

  1. Bearded dragons are the least skittish and you can search for a german giant breeder - they can grow to about 23" long in some cases.

    I bet in America they have some even bigger than that with all the inbreeding they do.

    Besides that, i suppose you'd be looking at getting some kind of small iguana.

    Maybe a Rhinoceros Iguana - they are still pretty large without getting as big as a green iguana... but they don't climb:

    I can't tell you how "friendly" any of the others are because i've never kept them myself.


  2. Maybe a group of cresties? like 2 or 3?. Anoles?. What ever you do DONT mix species, most people think its ok, but it puts uncersariey stress on the herps.
